So it's a new year. Again.
I guess I should wish you all happy new year, even though I don't really want to, because I absolutely do not understand the point of celebrating a change of date. Especially when I have to "celebrate" it by sitting at home watching tv and babysitting for my parents' friends kids, while they're out partying. I mean, hello!
Also, you might say this is a bit late for a new year post, but let's face the facts: it's my blog, I can very well write a Halloween post in February if that's what I feel like doing. Anyway, the reason this post comes so late is that I was out of action.
I hear the world's going to end by the end of this year, so technically, they should shut down all educational institutions, because no amount of knowledge of Calculus, (or any other subject for that matter, I just have a personal grudge against Calculus, besides being of the opinion that it is the most useless subject EVER invented by mankind) will enable you to avoid the trip to Kingdom Come if that's what it comes down to.
That's about all for my special "new year" post, and I hope you have a good one.

was so bored reading the ghisa-pita new year posts in other blogs... such a relief !!
ReplyDeleteas usual its rollicking :D
" it's my blog, I can very well write a Halloween post in February if that's what I feel like doing." hahaha !
and i share your grudge towards calculus, so its always nice to read someone ripping it apart - sadistic pleasure towards science and all its cousins.. lets rape them.. gang rape !!
waiting for more fun in the days to come.. (i resisted myself from saying this 'new year' ;) )
"Your interpretation will just be a reflection of how your convoluted mind works." Wah.. Wah...!
ReplyDeleteThank you Nitish. I take a bow ;) I'd like to know what your interpretation was, though!
ReplyDeletePrashant, your comments always encourage me to write more stupid stuff, so thanks :D And ya, Calculus does suck a lot.
my interpretation was that if you'd try describing a your holidays, you'd end up using a hell lot of verbs. (because you had a lot of action.)
ReplyDeleteFinally I find someone else who agrees that wishing everyone "Happy New Year" is just a waste of time!! You have GOT to come and convince more people that I know!!! Love the blog btw! I'll leave it to Nitish to tell you who I am.....unless you already know.
ReplyDeleteOf course I know who you are :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking the time to read, and appreciate.
And YES, it sucks that we have to wish people for a change of date. LAME!
